December 17 2006 ATTENTION GUTTERTHUGS: JUAN GARCIA HAS JOINED THE GESTURE - FUCKHEADS!!! It's now official! After way too many try-outs from way too many guys....Juan is the MAN! We tried hard to find a second guitarist and yet it ca me down to the man himself. Juan had helped us out for a few months, filling in when we needed him. But when it fits, it fits.....so he and the O.G. crew has decided to make it for real. As of December he is now officially part of Obscene Gesture. Many of you may not be aware of this but Juan was instrumental in helping us find Vince Dennis and recruiting him into the band. Juan will still be fully dedicated to Agent Steel....we'll be working with them to keep both bands flowing as easy as possible. Juan has been flexible with the whole situation and we'll make adjustments as we go along. The Agent Steel boys have been very cool with us, and we respect them 100%.... Thanx!.... Juan has not been involved in the writing process as of yet ..... But as soon as he is finished with the new Agent Steel CD, we'll get him on track! Cheers 'n' Beers 2 all!!! November 2006 Yo Scumbags!!! HAPPY FUCKING THANKSGIVING!!! As of Nov. 6th, the O.G. crew has all but signed the papers on a record deal!!! As most of you know, we have been speaking with many different labels world wide over the last couple of months and a new label has made us and offer that we basically CAN NOT REFUSE. We're smoothing out all the rough edges at the moment and making sure that both parties involved are in total agreement. At this point we can not divulge who or what the label is…that's part of the agreement right now. One thing we will say is that "it's a world wide deal". As of Nov. 6th, the O.G. crew has all but signed the papers on a record deal!! The new release is set for early 2007. The tentative title at this point is "Living Profanity". It has 15 new tracks and 6 re-recorded tracks from the demo as well….. 21 songs clocking in at a blistering 37 minutes!!! And keeping true with the style of the demo, it's HARD & CRUNCHING!!! We added a new track from the "Straight Outta The Gutter" demo to Our Myspace page called FALLEN. Check it the fuck out!!! The merchandise page is just about to go live so keep an eye out for it. We have 2 different shirt designs that kill, get one!

October 2006 Yo psychos, more shit talkin' from the O.G. camp. First up, we would like to thank all the crazy ass fuckers that came out to Bill's Place in North Hollywood on the 11th to check us out. We had a total blast!!! Also special thanks to Dia De Los Muertos for sharing the stage with us also...dead cats and all!!! And a huge special thanks to Juan Garcia from Agent Steel for sitting in with us for the set. Next up we would like to thank Will Stenner on Krush Radio. He had George on his show "Faded Junior" last Sunday (10/15/06) for a half hour live phone interview. He played The entire "Straight Outta The Gutter" demo and shamelessly plugged the shit out of us!!! FUCK YEAH!!! Of course we have some other people to shout out to that have been going the extra mile for us in the last month Jen in Phoenix Bobby Mac in El Cajon Rich Luna in San Diego RJ Reyes in Mira Mesa Ed Miller in Palm Beach Justin in L.A. September 2006 Yo Thrashers!!! Another dose of sickness from the O.G. crew. We've been working real hard in September for sure! We began work on our debut album on September 8th and to date have 21 tracks almost complete. Have no doubt…this shit is going to absolutely KILL!!! The band has decided on the title "LIVING PROFANITY" for the debut release. Rob Hill is doing a super job with the production and is putting together a monster album. One thing is for sure….."OLD SCHOOL IS BACK!!!" We've also re-mastered our "Straight Outta The Gutter" demo. It's still available via our website for $6(US) & $7(overseas). If you don't have one….get it while you can! They won't last forever. The "Killing Kids" video got such a great response on Myspace that we made it available for download on our website on the "music" page. We also will have shirts and stickers available via our website. Check back on that in a few weeks. We really like to thank all the Press & Radio that has supported us over the last few months. Because of you guys the O.G. word is spreading like wild fire all over the world! Aaron Small - Brave Word and Bloody Knuckles ……I would recommend this for those occasions where you feel fucked, when you had a lousy day at work, when things don't go the way you like….in short; when you are in a fuck-you mood and want to vent your feelings. Not for pussies in other words! Thoughts of Metal 'Zine ……Keep your head up for this band. This demo is a perfect blend of Hardcore and Thrash that is totally uncompromising and in your face….just try not to break anything when you listen to these guys! Seeds Of Evil ……The music is blunt with a raw edge. The goal is to bring Old School Thrash/Punk back. BRING IT ON! It's great to hear something worth listening to! August 2006 HELL-o GutterThugs!!! More news from the O.G. camp. Been a busy August. It looks like the songs are finally completed for the upcoming debut album. The band is scheduled to begin recording the weekend of September 16th with producer Rob Hill (of Cypress Hill, Powerman5000, Agent Steel, and Tourette's fame). Tentatively the album will feature 21 tracks of thrashing madness! We’re still negotiating with several labels and will be finalizing a major deal real soon. The band has also been asked to be featured on an upcoming hardcore compilation release. More info on that when it becomes available. In the mean time, we have added a sick fuckin’ video for the demo track “Killing Kids” on our Myspace page. A big special thanks to our friend and biggest supporter Jenifer Beck for taking the concept and going hog fucking wild with it. You can all check it out at www.Myspace.com/obscenegesture213. It should also be available on our website real soon as well www.obscenegesture.net As many of you know Vince “Vinsident” Dennis has been in Europe all of August with Ice-T and Bodycount. We’re working on getting a clip of that up on our Myspace page. A big “FUCK YA!” to Vince for the hard work. He’s due back in L.A. the last week of the month. OBSCENE GESTURE is the brainchild of Chuck Profus (Agent Steel) and L.A. gutterTHUG Guy Green, together with George Robb (Agent Steel, L.S.N., Détente) and Vince Dennis (Steel Prophet, Body Count) has brought old school thrash back to the general population...and it’s as sick and aggressive as it gets!!! A friend of ours once described OBSCENE GESTURE like this....Take Slayer, S.O.D., Agnostic Front, and D.R.I. ...chop ‘em up and stick ‘em in a meat grinder...then dump it into your CD player....that’s OBSCENE GESTURE!...
